THE TEAM
MEET THE LEADERS

"Global Tribe has, at its very core, a passion to REACH people for Jesus, and to mobilize others to join in that fulfillment of the Great Commission in Matthew 28. As International President, I simply ask you to consider joining with us. Be part of what God is doing in India, Baja, Africa, Fiji—and across America—through the work of Global Tribe. Through your belief in and support of REACH, we will be able to take the Gospel across America and beyond. Join the Tribe!"
Anthony Walton
Co-President, Global Tribe

"For more than two decades I've worked alongside Peter Furler and newsboys, and for most of my life I've been close friends with Anthony. REACH is the very heart of where we all began. Children of missionaries, in youth ministry, church planters, all for one purpose—taking the Gospel of Jesus worldwide. REACH grew out of Global Tribe, and is reflective of our heart for evangelism and building strong biblical foundations. Working with local churches and ministries, we designed REACH to be a tool to reach THE unchurched, and to unite the body to surround, equip, and support new believers. And then—take it to another town of God's leading."
Wes Campbell
Co-President, Global Tribe

Director
Robert Michaels brings to Global Tribe a unique skill set and education. In the 70's he was a detective with the Norfolk, VA police department and served in the Virginia National Guard as a MP. Rob's education includes a B.S. in Biblical Education from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC, and a M.A. in Communications from Wheaton Graduate School (IL). He has worked in the music industry in promotions, marketing, and artist management for 20+ years, and has been intrinsically involved in promoting ministries tackling issues like abstinence, suicide prevention, gambling addiction, slavery, racism, prison ministry, and poverty. He has visited more than 200 college campuses, professional teams, and professional sports leagues working with speakers for athletes regarding life skills and player development. He is also the chaplain for the Williamson County Fraternal Order of Police. Rob has worked with Newsboys and Wes Campbell for more than 5 years, developing sponsorships and marketing initiatives.

"The heart of Global Tribe, combining evangelism in the US and relief around the globe is an opportunity to impact live in a greater way than I have ever experienced. Changing the life of a young person can impact a family, a neighborhood, a town, and has the potential to impact a nation. That is the power of the Gospel in action— body, mind, and spirit."

BANDS

What supporting bands have to say:

Newsboys along with other bands and Global Tribe have teamed up to raise a 10,000 strong army giving a "Dollar a Day" and going to war on poverty.

CHURCHES

The Rock, Wellington, New Zealand
We have now sent over 80 people from The Rock half way around the world to Mexico to build houses. Global Tribe gives people the opportunity to connect and serve other cultures, but the kick-back of blessing it brings to our church is enormous. Sponsoring over 30 homes for those imprisoned by poverty has been one of the reasons for a large increase in giving at The Rock.

Pastor Greg Simnor.

New Life, Palmerston North, New Zealand
People who have been on one of the Global Tribe teams have been transformed by the experience.

Pastor John Walton

Annesbrook Church, Nelson, New Zealand
I have seen firsthand the faces of families as they receive their new homes – awesome!

Pastor Brent Liebeszeit

Blueprint Church, Wellington, New Zealand
To witness what's happening in Global Tribe Mexico is one of those life changing experiences. In contrast to the dust and dirt and rubbish, I will never forget the smiles of these beautiful Mexican people.
